Using AMR to achieve an effective resolution of 2400x800 here are some results
that compare pure WENO ( not TCD ) with clawpack (Van Leer with Muscl reconstruction) using Method(2) 4.
The first wedge angle is 15degrees and the second angle is 45degrees. The background flow is Mach 9 and gamma =1.4 One notices that the shear layer is more unstable in the WENO calculations. This persists into later times. A higher resolution clawpack (6 levels for an effective resolution of 6400x3200) confirms the features seen in the WENO simulation.
